Asian Games silver medalist China recorded their first win in the 2007 BSNL Asia
Cup with a resounding 6-0 victory over Bangladesh on Saturday. In their first
match in Pool B, they had lost closely to hosts India 0-1.
Chinese coach Kim Sang Ryul, said after the loss to India, that they would go
all out to get the goals and secure points. “I am still looking for a semi-final
finish,” Ryul said. The 6-0 victory over Bangladesh was a step in that
direction.
Na Yu Bo with three goals was the highest scorer for China. Na converted two
penalty corners and had a field goal to his name.
